INITIATION AU DRAPE

Avec l’intervention de Sylvain Combe, j’ai pu apprendre un des incontournables de la Haute Couture, le « Drapé ». J’ai appris deux façons de travailler le drapé, l’une en faisant des plis structurés pour marquer le corps et l’autre en utilisant de la fluidité. Ce fut très interessant de voir tout ce que l’on pouvait réaliser comme formes de vêtements avec une seule et même technique.

DRAPE TRAINING

With the intervention of Sylvain Combe, I was able to learn one of the must-knows of Haute Couture, the « Drapé ». I learned two ways of working with drapery, one by making structured folds to mark the body and the other by using fluidity. It was very interesting to see all the different forms of clothing that could be made with one and the same technique.
